Chain Bridge Research, f/k/a Independent Global Research, publishes three independent research services producing investment recommendations in global mergers and acquisitions, capital structure arbitrage, and other areas of event-driven and special situation investing. Krisztian Szentessy, with over 14 years of experience in equity markets, leads the analyst team. He is joined by four other dedicated analysts. Merger & Acquisition Reports

Three regionally focused M&A services cover every transaction in Europe, Asia and the Americas with a target market capitalization greater than $500 million. Each service provides in-depth fundamental research and trading analysis on every deal. Daily notes and weekly updates keep clients current on all deals under coverage, supplemented by ongoing news and deal analysis covering legal issues, sector strategies, counter-bidders, valuations and timing. Senior Staff:

Krisztian Szentessy - Director of Research, Senior Analyst
Krisztian worked as an assistant professor at the Budapest University of Economics and as an associate at Citigroup Budapest, Corporate Finance. Krisztian joined Independent Global Research in 2007 and has focused on US event driven research. During this time he has worked for an extended period in New York. Krisztian has an MSc in Economics from University College London and an Masters in Finance from the London Business School. Krisztian speaks Hungarian, Spanish and English.

Gábor Kökösy - Analyst
Gábor was employed at as an Equity and Forex Research Analyst before joining Independent Global Research. Prior to his employment at, Gábor worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Tax Advisor Consultant. He attended CAH Dronten University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands where he received his Bsc. of Honours Degree in Management and Agribusiness. He received his Master’s Degree in Economics while attending Cornivus University in Budapest. Gábor speaks English, German and Hungarian.

Tomáš Stanay - Analyst
Prior to joining Independent Global Research, Tomáš worked at Tata Consultancy Services as a financial analyst. Before joining Tata, he was employed in the Research Department of the Hungarian National Bank and the Regulations Department of Slovak National Bank. Tomáš received a Masters in Corporate Finance from the University of Comenius in Bratislava as well as a Masters in Economic Policy from Central European University in Budapest. He also completed his Bachelor’s Degree in International Business at the University of Comenius. Tomáš speaks Slovak, English, French, Hungarian, and Czech.

Gábor Szabó, CFA - Analyst
Prior to joining Independent Global Research, Gábor was employed at Raiffeisen Bank as a Senior Investment Product Manager. Previous to this, he served as an Investment Product Manager for mutual fund products at the Hungarian Branch Office of Citigroup. He joined Citigroup after almost two years as a financial analyst at K&H Bank. His Bachelor’s Degree in Finance was obtained while attending Budapest Corvinus University. Gábor speaks English, German, Spanish and Hungarian, and is a CFA Charterholder.

Daniyal Shafiq - Analyst
Daniyal was a controller in the Financial Accounting & Reporting Group at ExxonMobil prior to joining Chain Bridge Research. He attained his Bachelor of Business Administration, and specialized in Finance & IT. He also attained his Masters in Economics from Central European University.
