Account Executive

PCS Research is seeking an Account Executive to execute on several critical front office sales and marketing functions.  Primary responsibilities of account executives include but are not limited to:

  • Scheduling meetings with investment managers
  • Researching investment styles and portfolio positions of money managers across various sales territories
  • Maintaining necessary correspondence with prospective clients in order to move sales process towards closing
  • Collaborating with colleagues to build institutional sales strategies
  • Tracking revenues and projected revenues for the sales team
  • Developing a deep understanding of our investment research

The primary focus of this position is short selling, value-oriented and event-driven research targeted at hedge funds and mutual managers.


Financial markets or sales experience is helpful but not necessary. Successful candidates for the Account Executive position should be confident, articulate, interested in financial markets, able to work both independently and as part of a team, and able to work effectively in a competitive environment.
